Column Menu

• Create Computed Column...: Click here for more information.
  
  
• Add Formula Fields...: Click here to bring up a menu that lists all the formulas which are available to you.  Selecting a formula will place it into the Criteria Menu.  This gives you the opportunity to place criteria on formulas.
  
  
• Hide Column: Select a column in the Criteria menu under the Query Editor.  Click on the Hide Column and this will gray the selected column.  If a column is hidden, the only feature available is that Catalog Browser will not show the column in browser tree.  This will not affect the criteria, meaning that users can still add criteria to these columns.  Columns that are selected to be hidden will still display fields if you place them in your report.
  
  
• Unhide Column: Select a hidden column in the Criteria menu under the Query Editor.  Click on the Unhide Column and this will ungray the selected column.
  
  
• Select Hidden Column..:  In this menu, you can select and view the overall columns that are hidden or unhidden.  The columns are shown in their complete path (table and field) so you know exactly which column you are hiding or unhiding.
  
  
• Delete Column: Select a column in the Criteria menu and click this feature to delete it.  To undelete, find the field in the table you deleted and place a check mark beside it.
