This is the Catalog Browser Toolbar. ;
Insert icon: After you select an object from the Catalog Browser,
click on this icon to insert that object into your report.
New Connection icon: If you
have created a new catalog, click this button to create a connection from your database to
the new catalog file. Note:To access this button you must select Connection
from the Data tab.
Query icon: Clicking on this allows you to create
a new query. Click here for more information on
queries. Note: To access this button, you
must select Query from the Data tab.
Formula icon: Clicking on this icon allows you to create a new formula. Click here for more information on formulas. Note: To access
this button, you must select Formulas from the Data tab.
Summary icon: Clicking on this icon allows you to create a new summary. Click here for more information on summaries. Note: To
access this button, you must select Summary from the Data
tab. 
Paramter icon: Clicking on this icon allows you to create a new parameter. Click here for more information on parameters. Note: To
access this button, you must select Parameter from the Data
tab. 
Options button: Allow you
to select whether JReport will show warnings, or only show warnings when you are modifying
data.
Fold icon: Clicking on this icon will expand the Catalog Browser so
the Properties tab is shown. Click on a specific field in the Catalog
Browser and the Properties tab will display information about
it.
