Lets you define the query to export data from the selected database.
Query the Inventory database for
Workstations
Displays the attributes that are specific to workstations in the Select Attribute window.
Servers
Displays the attributes that are specific to servers in the Select Attribute window.
Both
Displays the attributes that are specific to workstations and servers in the Select Attribute window.
Display Machine(s) Not Satisfying the Filter Conditions
Select the check box to form a query that do not satisfy the filter conditions of the query group.
By default, this check box is not selected.
Select Attribute
Click the Select Attribute icon to select component or component
attributes in the Select Attribute window.
The components are grouped into the following categories: General, Software, Hardware, Network, and System.
For example, to find the machines that do not have pointing device installed, select Pointing Device as the component. To specify the version of BIOS as a component in the query, select BIOS as the component and VERSION as the component attribute.
Relational Operator
Relational operators show the relationship between the component and
the value.
Use the Matches option to specify the wildcard characters in the Value field.
To traverse the Relational Operator button options, press Ctrl+Up-arrow or Ctrl+Down-arrow.
If you select only the component in the Select Attribute window, the Relational Operator will be set to NULL by default and other relational operators will not be available.
Value
Description values are the possible values of an inventory
component.
For example, 6.0 is a possible value for the
DOS-Version attribute.
Description values are not case-sensitive. Use the
% wildcard character to substitute any number of characters,
or the ? character to substitute one character in the
Value field.
The list of description values displayed for an Inventory
component is taken from the Inventory database corresponding
to the component.
For an enumerated attribute, the value will be displayed in the following format:
enumerated_value [enumerated_ID]
For example, Processor.Processor Family = Pentium (R) III [17]
Logical Operator
The logical operators available for building query
expressions include the following:
AND
The expressions before and after the AND must be true.
OR
Either the expression before or after the OR must be true.
Insert Row
Lets you build the query for this current row.
Delete Row
Deletes the query.
New Group
Lets you form a new query group and specify the criteria for it. This query group will be combined with the previous query group by using the relational operator specified between the query groups.
End
Closes the query expression.
To traverse the Query Connectors Controls options, press Ctrl+Up-arrow or Ctrl+Down-arrow.
Clear
Clears the criteria for the query.
