Manage Custom Views

Custom Views simplifies the usage of the Inventory database schema to retrieve the inventory data from the Inventory database.

Using the Custom View wizard, you can create database views for the inventory data.

Each Custom View contains a Custom View name and a database query that you define by using the Custom View wizard.

The Custom Views are stored in the Inventory database. The data that you specify to create Custom Views is also stored as a configuration file (.exp) in the consoleone\1.2\reporting\export directory by default or at a location that you specify while creating the Custom View.

Using the Custom View wizard, you to perform the following tasks:

• Create a new Custom View.

• Modify an existing Custom View.

• Delete Custom Views from the Inventory database.
