Use this property page to associate the current ZENworks® Desktop Management or Handheld Management policy package with a Novell® eDirectoryTM object. Because policies are distributed in Server Management and Distributors do not receive Distributions, this association can only be done in Server Management for the Distributor object and the policies contained in the Service Location Package.
After a policy package is associated with the object, all enabled policies included in the package are applied to the object. If the package is associated with a container object (Country, Locality, Organization, or Organizational Unit), the policies are applied to all of the container's objects that are valid types for the package.
The following table summarizes the eDirectory objects with which you can associate various policy packages.
