Lets you customize the list of applications or locations to be excluded during the inventory scan.
What is Product Exclude Table?
The Product Exclude table lists the details of the application or the locations that you want to exclude during the inventory scan at the inventoried server or inventoried workstation.
By default, the table has entries that are populated during the Inventory
policy configuration.
You can specify values for one of the following: Vendor Name, Product Name, or File\Location Name. But if you specify Product Version or File Size, you must also specify at least one of the following: Vendor Name, Product Name, or File\Location Name.
For example, if the Product Exclude table has the entry:
Microsoft;MS Office;7.0;C:\ProgramFiles\MSOffice
then the inventory scanner will not scan for MS Office 7.0 located in the c:\programfiles\msoffice directory at the inventoried server or inventoried workstation associated with this Inventory policy.
