General

Use this property page to select or deselect the policies that are applied to any server where you distribute the Distributed Server Package. After you've selected a policy, you can modify it to meet the needs of the servers where you are applying it.

These policies are applied regardless of the server's platform (Linux*, NetWare®, Solaris*, or Windows*). To manage policies that apply to a specific server platform, use the applicable platform page.

The Distributed Server Package is only used by Policy and Distribution Services in ZENworks Server Management, because Policy and Distribution Services policies must be distributed to be enforced. This package is not used in ZENworks Desktop Management.
