Ordered Unload

You can determine an ordered unloading of Linux* or Solaris* processes, NetWare® NLMTM files and Java* processes, or Windows* services when a server goes down.

Use the up and down arrow buttons to arrange the added items in the order that they should be executed.

The option to specify an ordered unloading of Linux or Solaris processes, NLM files, Java processes, or Windows services is worded according to the applicable platform:

Unload NLMs and Java Classes in This Order Before Downing  (NetWare)
Kill Services in This Order Before Shutting Down  (Windows)
Kill Processes in This Order Before Shutting Down  (Linux and Solaris)

Select the check box to enable the option.

Before scheduling the processes that down a server, you should schedule processes that allow the server to come down without causing inadvertent data corruption, such as first stopping Novell® iFolderTM. You do not want to just kill processes to down the server; you want the server downing process to be clean.
