Configuration

This policy establishes basic configuration parameters for ZENworks^® Server Management.

Console Prompt
Specify a prompt using plain text and/or variables. You can use any of the predefined variables. For example, the default is:

ZENworks Server Management>

which displays as:

ZENworks Server Management>

You can include a variable and any text:

%SERVER_NAME% - Server Management >

which could provide the following prompt:

NW6SM001 - Server Management >

Working Directory
This is for temporary and backup files. The default directory is sys:\zenworks\pds\smanager\working. For NetWare^® servers, do not use extended or double-byte characters in the path.

Purge Database Entries Older Than __ Days
Specify a number for periodic purging of the database file.

All Server Management information older than the number of days entered is purged when Server Management is started on the same server where zfslog.db resides.

IMPORTANT: The database file can be purged only if the Policy/Package Agent (zfs.ncf) is running on the same server where the database file is located.
