MSI

Allows you to distribute Microsoft* Software Installer (MSI) packages to Windows* servers, where the MSI engine is used to install the Windows software included in an MSI Distribution.

The Installshield* AdminStudio* ZENworks Edition software for creating .mst files is available on the Installshield CD included with ZENworks 7.

Select Type
Select MSI.

Selected Packages
Lists the .msi and .msp files that you have added.

Installation Parameters
Lists the MSI installation parameters you have added.

Up/Down
Arranges the order in which the MSI packages are installed.

Add From Distributor
Let's you browse the Distributor's file system and select the .msi and .msp files, which must reside on the file system of the Distributor server that owns this MSI Distribution.

Add From FTP Site
Let's you browse the FTP site and select the .msi and .msp files.

Remove
Removes the selected .msi or .msp file from the list.

Edit Parameter List
Accesses a dialog box where you can edit the MSI parameters.

To include transforms in the Distribution, click the MSI package (not an MSP package) to be transformed, then click the Edit Parameters List button.
