Use this option to create a new cluster resource or cluster resource template.
Cluster resources must be created for every resource or application you run on servers in your cluster. Cluster resources can include web sites, e-mail servers, databases, and any other server based applications you want to make available to users at all times.
Cluster resource templates simplify the process of creating similar or identical cluster resources. You can create templates for any server application or resource you want to add to your cluster.
Cluster Resource Name
Enter a name for the new cluster resource or cluster resource template you are creating.
Inherit from Template
If a template exists for the resource you are creating, enter the template name or browse
and select it from the list. If a template does not exist, check the Define Additional Properties check box.
Create Resource Template
Check this box to create a cluster resource template instead of a cluster resource.
Define Additional Properties
Check this box if you are creating a cluster resource template, or if you are creating a cluster resource without applying a template. Check this box to complete the creation process by configuring load and unload scripts, setting failover and failback modes, and assigning nodes to the resource.
Online Resource after Create
Check this box if you want the resource to automatically start on the most preferred node as soon as it is created and configured. The most preferred node is the first server in the assigned nodes list for the resource.
