Use E-Mail Address Lookup if you receive a duplicate e-mail address warning when you are creating a new GroupWise® user.
When you create a new GroupWise user, ConsoleOne® checks for duplicate user IDs and duplicate e-mail addresses. You cannot create a new User object that would result in a duplicate user ID. If you create a new User object that results in a duplicate e-mail address, you receive a warning message and you can resolve the duplicate e-mail address problem later. Because there are several different e-mail address formats, it might not be obvious what other User object has the duplicate e-mail address until you look it up.
E-Mail Address
Type the duplicate e-mail address.
Search
Click Search. A list of user IDs that have the specified e-mail address, along
with domain and post office information, is displayed, so that you can ensure
that all users' e-mail addresses are unique.
Info
Select a user ID, then click Info for a complete list of GroupWise information
about the selected user.
