GroupWise® external users belong to external post offices. They do not physically exist in your GroupWise system. The main purpose for adding external users is to define them in your system's Address Book so that your users can more easily address messages to them and find information (phone, office number, and so forth) about them.
Network ID
Used during authentication, the Network ID must match the naming standard used
in the network that is not using NetWare®. It
is displayed in the Address Book as it appears in this field. If necessary,
you can change it here.
Description
If desired, enter a description for the user. The description is not displayed
in the Address Book.
Given Name
The given name is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change it
here.
Last Name
The last name is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change it
here. This is a required field for all user type objects within Novell®
eDirectoryTM.
Title
The title is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change it here.
Department
The department is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change it
here.
Phone
The phone number is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change
it here.
Fax
The fax number is displayed in the Address Book as entered. You can change it
here.
