Use the Network Address page to provide the TCP/IP address, IPX/SPXTM address, protocol, and port information used by the GroupWise® gateway.
TCP/IP Address
Click Edit (the pencil button), then provide either the IP address or the DNS
hostname of the server where the gateway runs. For an IPV6 server, you must
specify the hostname.
IPX/SPX Address
Click Edit (the pencil button), then provide the IPX/SPX network and node information
of the server where the gateway runs. This is required only if you want to enable
network management and monitoring programs to use IPX/SPX to send SNMP requests
to the gateway.
Bind Exclusively to TCP/IP Address
Select this option to bind this gateway to the specified IP address when the
server where it runs uses multiple IP addresses. The specified IP address is
associated with both the message transfer and HTTP ports. Without an exclusive
bind, the gateway binds to all IP addresses available on the server.
Message Transfer
In the Port field, specify the port number the gateway will use to communicate
with MTAs and POAs. This port must not be assigned to any other program running
on the gateway server, including other GroupWise agents (MTAs, POAs, WebAccess
Agents, or Internet Agents) and gateways.
HTTP
In the Port field, specify the port number the gateway will use to communicate
status information to your Web browser, providing a gateway Web console for
use with GroupWise Monitor. This port must not be assigned to any other program
running on the gateway server, including other GroupWise agents (MTAs, POAs,
WebAccess Agents, or Internet Agents) and gateways.
