A GroupWise® library is a Document Management Services (DMS) document repository.

Post Office
Displays the name of the domain and post office for your information.

Description
Enter a description for the library, such as which types of users will have access to it, and which types of documents will be stored in it, or both.

Start Version Number
You can enter a 0 (zero) or 1. Version numbers are automatically incremented from the number you enter. For example, if you enter 0, the first version number is .000; if you enter 1, the first version number is .001.

Maximum Archive Size
The number of bytes per archive directory. The value you enter should be compatible with your backup medium. For example, you could make it 90% the size of a tape backup's capacity to allow for the tape's file storage data. Then you will be able to back up one archive directory per tape. It is usually better to keep the archive directories small in comparison to the size of the backup medium, especially if the backup medium is measured in gigabytes. The lets you back up the archive directories often enough to keep your hard disk space from being used up too quickly between backups. For example, if your backup medium is 1 GB, limit your archive directories to 200 MB.
