Edit Domain Link

Use the Edit Domain Link dialog box to configure an indirect link between two domains. In an indirect link, the source domain MTA routes messages through one or more intermediate MTAs in other domains to reach the destination domain MTA. In other words, an indirect link consists of two or more direct links.

Description
Indicates how this domain (the source domain) connects to the domain at the other end of the link (the destination domain). Make sure you are editing the correct link.

Link Type: Indirect
Select Indirect.

Indirect Link Domain
Select the domain through which messages will be routed.

When setting up indirect links, you can check the route that messages will follow through the indirect links. In the Domain Links view, select an indirect link, then click View > Link Path.
