Use the Edit Post Office Link dialog box to configure the link between a domain and a post office.
Post Office
Identifies the post office whose link you are
editing. Make sure you are editing the correct link.
Protocol
Select the communication protocol to use between this post office and its domain.
For each protocol, default link information is provided based on information already specified when you created and configured the Post Office and POA objects.
Mapped
Displays the location of the post office using a format of drive:\post_office_directory instead of the UNC path specified on the post office Identification page. This enables the Windows* MTA to access the post office using a mapped drive rather than a UNC path. You can change the location if needed.
UNC
Displays the path to the post office using a format of \\server\volume\post_office_directory, as specified on the post office Identification page. You can change the location if needed.
TCP/IP
Post Office Agent
Select the POA you want the MTA to communicate with by way of TCP/IP.IP Address
Displays the IP address of the server where the POA is running and the message transfer port that the POA listens on to receive messages from the MTA, as specified on the POA Network Address page. To change this information, click Edit.Client/Server Port
Displays the port that the POA listens on for client/server communication with the GroupWise® client, as specified on the POA Network Address page. To change this information, click Edit.Maximum Send Message Size
Specify the maximum size in megabytes for message files the POA can process. If a message file exceeds the maximum allowed size, the sender and the administrator receive a "delivery disallowed" message specifying the size of the rejected message file and the size limitation.
A message file includes all text associated with a message: the message body, the distribution list, and attachments if any. Because message files are compressed, attachments that would exceed the maximum size in their uncompressed state can still be processed successfully.
