MTA Network Address

Specify the network address information for the server where the Message Transfer Agent (MTA) will run. This information is used by the Post Office Agent (POA) and other Message Transfer Agents to establish a TCP/IP connection with the MTA.

TCP/IP Address
Enter the IP address or DNS hostname of the server running the MTA. For an IPV6 server, you must specify the hostname.

Message Transfer Port
The message transfer port is the port on which the MTA listens for the POA and other MTAs. The default message transfer port is 7100. If another application is already using that port, enter an available port.

HTTP Port
The HTTP port is the port the MTA uses to communicate status information to your Web server for display from your Web browser. The default HTTP port is 7180. If another agent (MTA, POA, Internet Agent, or WebAccess Agent) is already using that port, enter an available port.
