POA Network Address

Specify the network address information for the server where the Post Office Agent (POA) will run. This information is used by the GroupWise® client and Message Transfer Agent (MTA) to connect to the post office via TCP/IP.

TCP/IP Address
Enter the IP address or DNS hostname of the server running the POA. For an IPV6 server, you must specify the hostname.

Client/Server Port
The client/server port is the port on which the POA listens for the GroupWise client. The default client/server port is 1677. If another application is already using that port, enter an available port.

Message Transfer Port
This option is only available if you selected TCP/IP as the post office link.

The message transfer port is the port on which the POA listens for the MTA. The default message transfer port is 7101. If another application is already using that port, enter an available port.

HTTP Port
The HTTP port is the port the POA uses to communicate status information to your Web server for display from your Web browser. The default HTTP port is 7181. If another agent (MTA, POA, Internet Agent, or WebAccess Agent) is already using that port, enter an available port.
