Identification

Use the Identification page to provide basic information about the POA.

Domain.PO
Displays the GroupWise^® address (domain.post_office) of the post office serviced by this POA.

Distinguished Name
Displays the Novell^® eDirectory^TM name of this POA, which consists of the Agent object name, followed by each eDirectory container name.

Name
Displays the name provided when this POA object was created.

If the POA object was created automatically along with the post office, the name is set to POA. If you create a POA object manually, you specify a unique name.

Agent Type
Identifies the agent as a Post Office Agent.

Description
Type one or more lines of text describing this POA. This description will display on the POA agent console as the POA runs.

If multiple administrators work at the server where this POA runs, the description could include a note about who to contact before stopping the POA. If multiple, specialized POAs run for a single post office, the description could identify the specialized configuration of each.

Platform
Select the platform (NetWare Loadable Module, Linux, or Windows) where this POA will run.
