A post office is a collection of user mailboxes and GroupWise® objects.
Post Office
The name of the post office, including its
domain, is displayed for your information.
Description
Enter a description to help you identify how the post office fits into the logical
organization. You can include any helpful information, such as locations or
company organizations that are included in this post office.
UNC Path
The UNC path to the post office database is displayed for your information and
can be changed if necessary.
On Linux, a Linux path is displayed, rather than a UNC path. ConsoleOne can convert between UNC paths and Linux paths.
Language
The language you selected determines how lists
(for example, users, resources, and groups) are sorted. The language is
displayed in this field and can be changed by selecting another language
from the list. A post office can use a language different from other post
offices in the same domain.
Time Zone
Make sure you have selected the time zone where this post office is located.
This is used to calculate the times of appointments, especially if participants
are in different time zones. If the correct time zone is not displayed, select
a time zone from the drop-down list. You can modify the time zone list to reflect
your location or organization name.
Database Version
The GroupWise database version is displayed for your information.
View Client Options
Click View Client Options as a convenient shortcut for Tools > GroupWise
Utilities > Client Options in order to modify client options for the currently
selected post office.
