GroupWise® provides certain Novell® eDirectoryTM user properties for display in the Address Book. This set of default user properties is a subset of the properties available in the current eDirectory schema. Administrator-defined fields are the user properties you select for the Address Book from those not in the default set.
Current Field Mappings
The currently available administrator-defined fields are listed. If they have
been defined, you see the eDirectory property displayed.
GroupWise Field
You can define as many as 20 administrator-defined fields
eDirectory Property
To add a new field, double-click any available GroupWise field marked <unused>.
Edit
Select a GroupWise field, then click Edit to display the Select
eDirectory User Property dialog box where you select an eDirectory user
property to use as a new field in the GroupWise Address Book.
Clear
Select a GroupWise field, then click Clear to delete the eDirectory user property
information mapped to the field. The eDirectory Property field reverts to <unused>,
indicating that the field is available for another mapping to an eDirectory
user property. When you click Clear, the mapping is removed at the system level,
but is not removed from User objects where it was replicated
Cleanup
Click Cleanup to remove obsolete admin-defined field mappings from all User
objects throughout your GroupWise system. Use Cleanup after you use Clear to
delete one or more admin defined field mappings at the system level. Also, use
Clear before creating new admin-defined field mappings to make sure that User-level
mappings are up to date with system-level mappings.
