Network Address

Use the Network Address page to provide the TCP/IP address, IPXTM/SPX address, protocol, and port information used by the GroupWise® WebAccess Agent.

TCP/IP Address
Click Edit (the pencil button), then provide either the IP address or the DNS hostname of the server where the WebAccess Agent runs. For an IPV6 server, you must specify the hostname.

IPX/SPX Address
Click Edit (the pencil button), then provide the IPX/SPX network and node information of the server where the WebAccess Agent runs. This is required only if you want to enable network management and monitoring programs to use IPX/SPX to send SNMP requests to the WebAccess Agent.

Bind Exclusively to TCP/IP Address
Select this option to bind this WebAccess Agent to the specified IP address when the server where it runs uses multiple IP addresses. The specified IP address is associated with all ports used by the WebAccess Agent (HTTP, TCP, and so on). Without an exclusive bind, the WebAccess Agent binds to all IP addresses available on the server.

HTTP
In the Port field, specify the port number the WebAccess Agent will use to communicate status information to your Web browser, providing a WebAccess Agent Web console for use with GroupWise Monitor. This port must not be assigned to any other program running on the WebAccess Agent's server, including other GroupWise agents (MTAs, POAs, Internet Agents, or other WebAccess Agents).

In the SSL field, select Enabled to enable the WebAccess Agent to use a secure connection for the WebAccess Agent Web console. The Web browser must also be enabled to use SSL; if it is not, a non-secure connection will be used.

TCP
Specify the port number the WebAccess Agent will use to communicate with the WebAccess Application and the WebPublisher Application. This port must not be assigned to any other program running on the WebAccess Agent's server, including other GroupWise agents (MTAs, POAs, Internet Agents, or other WebAccess Agents). The default TCP port is 7205.
