Edit Post Office Link
Use this dialog box to specify how the GroupWise® Internet Agent
accesses the selected post office.
Domain
Displays the domain in which the post office is
located.
Post Office
Displays the name of the post office.
Current Post Office Access
Displays the current access
mode for the post office, which is defined on the Post Office object (Post
Office object > GroupWise tab > Post Office Settings page). This is
the mode being used by the Post Office Agent and the GroupWise client to
access the post office.
Access Mode
Select the access mode you want the Internet
Agent to use. The choices are Client/Server and Direct (the default),
Direct Only, Client/Server Only, and Use Current Post Office Access.
- Client Server and Direct: The Internet Agent first attempts to use
client/server. If client/server access fails, it then attempts to use direct
access.
- Direct Only: The Internet Agent attempts to use only a UNC
path or mapped drive to access the post office.
- Client Server Only: The Internet Agent attempts to use only TCP/IP
to connect to the Post Office Agent.
- Use Current Post Office Access: The Internet Agent uses
whatever access mode is set for the post office (Post Office object >
GroupWise tab > Post Office Settings page). This access mode is
displayed in the Current Post Office Access field.
Direct Access
If you select an access mode that includes
direct access, you must specify a path that the Internet Agent can use to
access the post office.
- Use Admin UNC Path: Select this option if you want the
Internet Agent to use the post office's UNC path (Post Office object >
GroupWise tab > Identification page).
- Use Mapped Path: Select Use Mapped Path, then enter a drive
mapping if you want to specify a drive mapping to be used. The drive
mapping must be from the perspective of the server running the Internet
Agent.
Client/Server Access
If you select an access mode that
includes client/server access, you must specify the TCP/IP address and
port of the Post Office Agent (POA). The default address of the POA (POA
object > GroupWise tab > Identification page) is automatically
entered in the two fields.
- Host Name or IP Address: The POA's default address (POA object >
GroupWise tab > Identification page) is automatically entered in the field.
If this information is not correct, enter the correct hostname or IP address
of the server running the POA. For an IPV6 server, you must specify the hostname.
- TCP Port: The POA's default port (POA object > GroupWise tab >
Identification page) is automatically entered in the field. If this information
is not correct, enter the port being used by the POA.
