Use this property page to configure dial-up service for the GroupWise® Internet Agent. Dial-up service can be used when you don't require a permanent connection to the Internet and want to periodically send and receive e-mail. You can establish the dial-up schedule on the Scheduling page.
Enable Dial-Up
Turn on this option to allow the Internet
Agent to support SMTP dial-up service. This option is off by default.
ETRN Host
Specify the IP address, or DNS hostname, of
the mail server (where your mail account resides) at your Internet Service
Provider. You should obtain this address from your Internet Service
Provider.
ETRN Queue
Specify the Internet hostname of your
Internet Agent. This is the same as the hostname in the Foreign ID field
(GroupWise tab > Identification page). You should have already obtained
a hostname from your Internet Service Provider.
Settings for Windows NT Remote Access Server
These options apply only if you are using a Windows* NT* remote access server.
Username
Specify the username provided to you by your Internet Service Provider. The username setting is used for the PPP connection to your Internet Service Provider.
Password
Specify the username's password. If you leave this field blank, then the SMTP dial-up uses the currently logged-in user ID and password for authentication.
