All of the Access Control List (ACL) rules from a specified server are read into the Internet Caching Server (ICS). After a user has logged in, ACL rules control what resources the user can access. By default, the user has access to nothing. Only those resources explicitly listed in the Resource page (specified by the URL) can be accessed by an authenticated user listed in the Apply To page.
Enable Access Control
Enables you to determine whether this ACL rule is active or inactive.
Enable Authorized Logging
Enables authorized logging. The logs are saved on the Internet Caching Server (ICS). The
ACL log files for each 24-hour period are saved to SYS:\ETC\ACLLOG\yymmdd-A.LOG
where yymmdd is today's date, represented by two digits for the year, month, and
date. ACL rule logging must be enabled using the ICS browser-based administration tool.
