This Panel let's you setup the Dynamic Acl, test the results and convert to Standard Ldap search filter format.
Find in
Specifies the NDS® container to search. To select a different container to
search, click the browse button next to this field.
Search Subcontainers
Specifies whether to include subcontainers in the search.
First query field
Select an object property to use as a search criterion, or select [Object Type] to search
for objects of a specific class. All properties defined in the schema of the NDS tree are
listed in this field. The property names are read from NDS and so are always shown in
English.
Comparison operator
Click this button to select the logical operator to use when comparing the value of the
specified property with the actual property values in NDS.
Second query field
Select or enter the property value to compare against the actual property values in NDS.
To enter a value that will work, you must know the syntax of the particular property. The
syntax is the type of data contained in the property, such as a character string, an
integer, and so on.
Statement connector keyword
Click this button to select the keyword that specifies how this statement or group of
statements connects with the next statement or group of statements in the query.
And

Or
Specifies that either this or the next statement (or statement group) must be true for a match to occur. If there is no next statement, selecting this keyword adds one.
Insert Row
Adds a new statement below this one.
Delete Row
Deletes this statement from the query.
New Group
Adds a new statement group below this one.
End
Specifies that this statement ends the query.
Test
Click this button to test the dynamic acl in NDS namespace and display the results at the bottom of the
dialog box. You can right-click objects in the result list to perform actions just like
in the ConsoleOneTM right pane.
Hint: Only the first 1,200 objects in the search results are displayed.
Reset
Click this button to reset the fields and options in the dialog box to their default
values. Otherwise, each time you search an NDS container during the current ConsoleOne
session, the Find dialog box contains the values you last specified.
OK
Click this button to convert the dynamic Acl search criteria to standard Ldap search filter format
to be stored in the ACL object.
Please make sure all your NDS to LDAP mappings are present in the right Ldap group object as pointed by
the Ncp server object.
