This page gives you the option to create, modify, or delete a web server accelerator.
Create a new web server accelerator
To create a new web server accelerator, enter a unique name 8 characters or less as well as
the DNS name by which your users will access the resource, then press Next.
Modify an existing web server accelerator
This option allows you to make changes to an existing web server accelerator. You can change
the DNS name from this page, or press Next to change other parameters.
Delete an existing web server accelerator
To delete an existing web server accelerator, select the desired accelerator from the drop down
list and press the delete button, then Finish.
Enable multi-homing
Selecting this box enables the Options button, which allows you to setup multi-homing for an
accelerator.
Multi-home master
This drop-down box contains the names of all the previously defined accelerators that can serve
as the master for this accelerator. You should select the accelerator that has the same DNS name
through which you would like to access this accelerator. For example, if users will access this
resource through the URL http://www.novell.com/path1, you should select an accelerator as
the master that has www.novell.com as the DNS name.
With multi-homing enabled, nearly all of the accelerator options are inherited from the master
accelerator.
Press the Next button to advance to the next screen, or the Finish button to invoke the changes up to this point.
