This dialog contains the connection information needed for the iChain* proxy server to communicate with the iChain* administration server over LDAP.
IP Address
The IP address of the iChain* authorization server. The iChain* authorization server is
an NDS* eDirectory* server containing the iChain* service objects, access control rules, and
user objects that define your iChain* system.
The following items can only be modified on the first entry in the list.
Port
The LDAP port for the iChain* authorization server. The default for non-secure LDAP is
389, the default for secure LDAP is 636.
Administrator
The LDAP formatted distinguished name of a user with sufficient rights to read the tree.
Password
The password for the user specified above.
Password confirmation
Confirmation of the password. You will not be able to save the information unless the passwords
match.
Use a secure connection (LDAP over SSL)
A checkbox in this field designates that all traffic sent over this connection will be secure.
You must configure the LDAP server for secure communication as well.
Trusted root file
If the option above is selected, you must import the trusted root file for secure LDAP from the
web-based administration utility, then enter the name of the trusted root file here.
