Server General Parameters

These are general configurable parameters.

Server Information

These parameters display the configuration of the NetWare Server.

Host
IP name of the NetWare^® server.

IP Address
The IP Address of the NetWare server.

Subnet Mask
The subnet mask that, when added to IP Address, provides the IP network number.

Server Name
The name of the server.

Operating System
The version of the operating system being used by the host.

Context
The context or logical position of the server within the NDS tree.

Tree
The current NDS tree.

Time Zone
The world time zone reference of your area. The time zone is used to set time synchronization and for time stamps. It is set during installation of NetWare.

Directory Access

These parameters are used to set the directory access.

NDS
Select this radio button to set the access to NDS.

Search Root
Enter the list of Fully Distinguished Name of containers from where the search should start for users and groups only. The names are separated by commas.

NIS
Select this radio button to enable remote NIS access.

Enable NIS Client
Check this box to enable the NIS client.

NIS Server
Enter the name of the remote NIS Server.

NIS Domain
Enter the name of the domain served by the remote NIS server.
