Create or Edit Subject Alternative Names

Type

Select a type of subject alternative name from the list. The possible choices are:

• E-mail Address
• DNS Name
• Directory name
• URI
• IP Address

Name

Enter the name in the name field that corresponds with the type you have selected or modify the name in the name field. The screen gives examples of each name type.

The reverse order button to the right of the name field becomes active for some name types. This button allows you to reverse the order of a distinguished name without having to retype the name.
