Dial Access System Username Resolution Page

Purpose

This page allows you to enable users to use their NDS* common name to log in to the network. It also lets you define the search paths for the User object name contexts.

To Use the Dial Access System Username Resolution Page

1. Select Disable if you want to disable user name resolution in other contexts in the NDS tree. Users in the same context as the DAS object can still login using their NDS common name to log in to the network.
2. Select Use NDS Find To Resolve Usernames if you want to search the NDS database for the distinguished name of a user.
3. Select Use Lookup Contexts Lists To Resolve Usernames to specify search paths for name contexts.
4. To add a search path, click Add.
   1. Browse and select the name context.
   2. To add another search context, select Add Another Context.
   3. Click OK.
5. To delete an existing search context, highlight the search context and click Delete.
6. When finished, click OK.
