User Dial Access Services Page
Purpose
This property page allows you to:
- Enable a user for dial access services
- Select the appropriate Dial Access System for the user
- Set the dial access password for the user
- Add, modify, or delete specific RADIUS attributes for the user
- Select a default service if a user is configured for more than one dial access service
To Use the User Dial Access Services Page
- Check Enable Dial Access to enable a user for dial access services. Uncheck the box to disable a user for dial access services. Check Use Container Setting to use the dial access assigned to the container (default is Use Container Setting).
- Select a Dial Access System. Enter the distinguished name of the desired Dial Access System or click the Browse button and select the desired Dial Access System object.
- Set the Dial Access Password. This button is enabled only if your selected Dial Access Service does not have the Use NetWare Password option selected. For more information, see Creating a Dial Access System Object.
- Set the Configured Services. Click Add to choose a Dial Access Profile and other applicable RADIUS attributes. Select a service and click Modify to change an existing attribute. Select a service and click Delete to erase an existing attribute.
Additional properties define which services (Dial Access Profile objects and RADIUS attributes) a user can utilize. If a user is configured for more than one Dial Access Profile, you can select the user's default profile. Then, the user can select the desired profile. For example, user RJONES has two Dial Access Profiles: PPP and Telnet. PPP is the default service. If the user logs in as "RJONES", the user will get the PPP service. If the user logs in as "TELNET:RJONES", the user will get the Telnet service.
- When finished, click OK.
