Adding an NDS Context Domain to Be Processed by a Specific Novell RADIUS Server

Overview

Using ConsoleOne*, you can configure an authentication domain for the Dial Access System object that will look up users by NDS context with the authentication request being processed by a specific RADIUS server in the NDS tree.

To Add an NDS Context Domain Processed by a Specific Novell RADIUS Server

  1. Select a Dial Access System object that you already created.
  2. Select Domains.
  3. Select Add to add a domain.
  4. Enter the name of the authentication domain in Domain Name.
  5. Select the NDS Context-Specific Novell RADIUS Server domain type.
  6. Enter or browse to the name of the NDS Context to search.
  7. Select Look For User In Any Lookup Context Under This Context if users in this NDS context and below can be authenticated.
  8. Select Look For User In This Context Only if users in this NDS context only can be authenticated.
  9. Enter the primary IP address and TCP port number for the specific RADIUS server to process the requests.
  10. (Optional) Enter the secondary IP address and TCP port number for the specific RADIUS server to process the requests.
  11. Enter the RADIUS secret. Reenter the secret.
  12. Click OK twice.
