Creating a Dial Access System Object
You need to perform the following tasks from ConsoleOne to create a Dial Access System object:
- Select an Organizational Unit in your NDS* tree in which the Dial Access System object will be created.
- Configure the Dial Access system object you created.
- Specify a Dial Access System password.
Note: The Dial Access System password is used to encrypt the private key that protect passwords and secrets. Therefore, we recommend that the Dial Access System password be a random string 20 to 30 characters long.
After you have created a Dial Access System object, you can create a Dial Access Profile object. For more information on creating a Dial Access System object, see Novell RADIUS Services Installation and Administration Guide.
