Use this page to configure log settings for the application.
The application creates new log files each day and each time it is restarted. The log file is named mmddapp.nnn, where mm is the month, dd is the day, app is the three-letter identifier assigned to the application, and nnn is the log file number (001 for the first log file of the day, 002 for the second, and so forth).
Log File Path
Specify the path to the directory where you want to store the log files. If
you want the directory location to mirror the location for other Novell®
applications, use a logs directory, located in the application's home directory
(by default, /opt/novell/application_name/logs on the root of the Web
server).
Maximum Log File Age
Specify the number of days you want to retain the log files. The application
retains the log files for the specified number of days unless the maximum disk
space for the log files is exceeded. The default is 7 days.
Maximum Log Disk Space
Specify the maximum amount of disk space you want to use for the log files.
If the disk space limit is exceeded, the application deletes log files, beginning
with the oldest file, until the limit is no longer exceeded. The default is
1024 KB.
Logging Level
Specify the level of information you want to
log.
Log Language
Select the language in which you want information written to the log files.
The list contains many languages, some of which the application might not support.
If you select an unsupported language, the information will be written in English.
Log Time Format
Select the format to use when the
application records dates and times in the log files.
