Environment

Use this property page to modify the environment settings associated with the GroupWise® Provider. The GroupWise Provider receives requests from the GroupWise WebAccess Application and communicates with the WebAccess Agent to complete the requests.

Type
Displays the provider type (GroupWise Provider).

Class
Displays the Java* package and class name for the provider. For the GroupWise Provider, this is com.novell.webaccess.providers.gwap.XGWAP.

ID
Displays the ID associated with the provider. The ID is included in a request to indicate to the application which provider should handle the request. The ID for the GroupWise Provider is GWAP.

Timeout for Busy Search
Select how long you want the GroupWise Provider to wait for the WebAccess Agent to return information when a user performs a Busy Search.

Configuration File
To communicate with the WebAccess Agent, the GroupWise Provider needs to know the encryption key that has been defined for the agent. The encryption key is stored in the WebAccess Agent's commgr.cfg file.

Select the commgr.cfg file you want to use. If the GroupWise Provider communicates with more than one WebAccess Agent (see GroupWise WebAccess Agents below), you need to ensure that all WebAccess Agents use an encryption key that is the same as the one stored in the selected commgr.cfg file.

GroupWise WebAccess Agents
This list displays the WebAccess Agents the GroupWise Provider can communicate with when attempting to complete a request. If the first one listed is unavailable, the GroupWise Provider attempts to use the second, third, fourth, and so on until it is successful.

The default WebAccess Agent assigned to a user's post office (Post Office object > GroupWise tab > Default WebAccess page) or domain (Domain object > GroupWise tab > Default WebAccess page) overrides the WebAccess Agents in this list. For example, if the GroupWise Provider receives a request for a user on a post office that has been assigned WEBAGENT1 as the default WebAccess Agent, the GroupWise Provider attempts to communicate with that WebAccess Agent before trying to communicate with any of the WebAccess Agents in the list.

The list must include at least one WebAccess Agent, regardless of whether or not you have established default WebAccess Agents for all of your domains and post offices.
