Environment

Use this property page to modify the environment settings associated with the LDAP Provider. The LDAP Provider receives requests from the GroupWise^® WebAccess Application and communicates with LDAP servers to complete the requests.

Type
Displays the provider type (LDAP Provider).

Class
Displays the Java* package and class name for the provider. For the LDAP Provider, this is com.novell.webaccess.providers.ldap.LDAPProvider.

ID
Displays the ID associated with the provider. The ID is included in a request to indicate to the application which provider should handle the request. The ID for the LDAP Provider is LDAP.

Configuration File
To communicate with LDAP servers, the LDAP Provider needs to know certain information that is stored in the ldap.cfg. Select the ldap.cfg file. The default location for the file is the /opt/novell/groupwise/webacc/webaccess directory on the root of the Web server.

LDAP Server
This list displays the LDAP servers the LDAP Provider can communicate with. The GroupWise WebAccess Address Book lists all LDAP servers shown in the list.

Add
Click Add to define an LDAP server and add it to the list.

Edit
Select an LDAP server in the list, then click Edit to modify the information about the LDAP server.

Delete
Select an LDAP server in the list, then click Delete to remove it.

Customize Settings in XML
Click this button to launch the XML editor. You can use the editor to add, modify, or delete LDAP Provider settings.
