Log Settings

Use this property page to configure the logging options associated with the Novell^® Speller Application.

Enable Logging
Turn on this option to enable the Novell Speller Application to log information to a file. The Novell Speller Application creates the specified log file and appends information to it until you manually delete the file, at which time the Speller Application creates a new file.

Log File Path
Select the location and name for the log file. By default, the log file is named spellchk.log and is stored in the /opt/novell/groupwise/webacc/webaccess/logs directory on the root of the Web server.

Logging Level
Specify the level of information you want to log.

• Off: Turns logging off.
• Normal (default): Displays warnings and errors.
• Verbose: Displays Normal logging plus information messages and user requests.
• Diagnostic: Displays all possible information. Use Diagnostic only if you are troubleshooting a problem.

Log Language
Select the language in which you want information written to the log files. The list contains many languages, some of which the Novell Speller Application might not support. If you select an unsupported language, the information is written in English.
