Authentication Rule

This dialog box lets you base distribution on whether or not the user is authenticated to the Novell^® eDirectory^TM tree in which the Application object resides.

Local Workstation Authentication
Select this option to make the application available only if the user is not authenticated to the Novell eDirectory tree where the Application object resides. In other words, the user is authenticated to the local Windows* workstation only or to a different eDirectory tree.

Network Authentication
Select this option to make the application available only if the user is authenticated to the Application object's eDirectory tree.

A trademark symbol (^®, ^TM, etc.) denotes a Novell trademark. An asterisk denotes a third-party trademark. For information on trademarks, see Legal Notices.
