This dialog box lets you create a requirement based on whether or not the connection to Novell® eDirectoryTM is through the Novell ClientTM. Novell Application LauncherTM will not make the application available on the workstation unless the requirement is met.
Show Application Icon Even If Criteria Are Not Met
Select True to display the application icon on the workstation regardless of
whether or not the requirement is met. The icon displays in a disabled state
if the requirement is not met. Users can right-click the disabled application's
icon, select Details, then select Requirements in order to view a list of all
of the distribution requirements that were defined for the application. They
can then perform any necessary upgrades to the workstation configuration to
meet the application requirements.
Client Dependent
Select Connection is Using Novell Client if you want the application to be available
only on workstations connected to eDirectory through the Novell Client.
Select Connection is Not Using Novell Client if you want the application to be available only on workstations whose eDirectory connections are not through the Novell Client (for example, through the ZENworks Middle Tier Server).
