Operating System Requirements

This dialog box lets you create a requirement based on the operating system required to run the application. Novell^® Application Launcher^TM does not make the application available on the workstation unless the requirement is met.

Show Application Icon Even If Criteria Are Not Met
This setting defaults to False and cannot be changed. The workstation's operating system must meet the requirements defined below in order for Application Launcher to display the application icon on the workstation.

Platform Is
Select the operating system (Windows* 98 or Windows NT*/2000/XP) the workstation must be running.

Version
Select whether the version number must be less than, less than or equal to, equal to, greater than, greater than or equal to the number entered in the Version field. The corresponding operators are as follows:

• Less than: <
• Less than or equal to: <=
• Equal to: =
• Greater than or equal to: >=
• Greater than: >

For example, if you want to require at least version 4.00.950, select >= (greater than or equal to) and then enter 4.00.950 in the Version field.
