This property page specifies additional source locations that contain installation packages from which Novell® Application LauncherTM can distribute the application.
With simple applications and AOT/AXT applications, you can use the source list to define the locations of any additional installation packages you want available for fault tolerance and load balancing. After you define the additional sources on this page, you specify them as sources on the Fault Tolerance and Load Balancing pages.
With MSI applications, you can use the source list to define the locations of any additional source packages. The additional packages are automatically used to provide fault tolerance. If you want the packages used to provide load balancing, you must enable load balancing on the Load Balancing page.
Before you can define additional source locations, you need to copy the installation packages to the new source locations. For AOT/AXT applications, copy the .aot, .axt, .fil, and .txt files. For MSI applications, copy the administrative installation folder and all subfolders.
IMPORTANT: With AOT/AXT applications, if the SOURCE_PATH macro (Common > Macros page) is used in any of the Application object's property fields, you should verify that the macro name contains all uppercase letters. Otherwise, if the source specified by the SOURCE_PATH macro becomes unavailable, Application Launcher cannot fail over to the sources listed on this page.
