DNS Settings

Specifies how to assign DNS information when imaging a workstation by this policy, if no DNS information is found in the workstation's image-safe data.

A workstation is imaged by this policy if it hasn't been registered as an object in Novell^® eDirectory^TM and if it boots in auto-imaging mode and connects to an imaging server that is associated with this policy.

DNS Suffix
Specifies the list of DNS domain suffixes to be used to identify connections used by this computer. For example, example.xyz.org.

Name Servers
Lists the DNS name servers, by IP address, to use for resolving DNS domain names used on this computer. For example, 123.45.6.7.

To add a name server to the list, click Add, specify the IP address, then click OK.
To move a name server up or down in the list, select it, then click Move Up or Move Down.
To modify a name server, select it, then click Modify.
To remove a name server from the list, select it, then click Remove.
