Image Selection Rules (Server Policy)

Lists the rules that determine which images to put on workstations that are imaged by this policy.

A workstation is imaged by this policy if it hasn't been registered as an object in Novell® eDirectoryTM and if it boots in auto-imaging mode and connects to an imaging server that is associated with this policy.

Image Selection Rules
Each line in this table specifies the conditions under which a corresponding image is to be put on the workstation. The rules are evaluated in the order listed until a match is found. When a match is found, the corresponding image is used and any remaining rules in the table are ignored. Take care to choose rules that apply only to the unregistered workstations you want imaged. Otherwise, an image could be unintentionally pushed to another workstation.

Force Down a ZENworks Base Image
Specifies whether to lay down the base image determined by the above rules even if it is the same base image that was last put on the workstation. By default, this option is deselected to prevent the same base image from being laid down each time the workstation is booted in auto-imaging mode and imaged by this policy, so that only the add-on images are laid down in such a scenario. To force the base image to be laid down, select this option; however, you might want to deselect it after the base image has been laid down again.
