If you are booting a PXE-enabled workstation, you can select from the following options.
Use These PXE Settings, Instead of the Effective Policy Settings
This option only applies to the Workstation object. Select this option to have
the settings on this page override the settings found in the Workstation policy
or Server policy.
PXE Menu Availability
Always Display the PXE Menu
This option displays the PXE menu every time the workstation is booted up.
Display the PXE Menu Only If Ctrl+Alt Are Held During Boot
This option displays the PXE menu only if the user presses Ctrl+Alt during boot-up.
Do Not Display the PXE Menu
This option prevents the PXE menu from displaying during boot-up.
Read the PXE Menu from This File Instead of Using the Default Menu
The default PXE menu contains the following options: Start ZENworks Imaging
in Automatic Mode, Start ZENworks Imaging in Maintenance Mode, Disable the ZEN
Partition, and Enable the ZEN Partition. If you do not want to use this menu,
you can specify a different PXE menu to use. You can create a custom menu using
the MenuEditor. On a Windows machine that has ZENworks® Desktop Management Preboot
Services (PXE Support) installed on it, click the Start button > Programs
> PXE > MenuEditor to locate the MenuEditor
Note: MenuEditor is not installed to a NetWare®
server. If you need to use MenuEditor from a NetWare server, locate the files
on the ZENworks Desktop Management program CD in \zen preboot services\menu
editor, then copy them to your NetWare server. Then, from a Windows* machine,
you can map a drive to the location on the server and run MenuEditor.
After you have created the menu file, specify it here.
Read the PXE Image from This File Instead of Using the Default Image
If you have customized the PXE image in order to add additional drivers or customize
the Linux* environment, specify the image filename here.
