Custom Attribute Editor

Use the Custom Attribute Editor table to customize attributes of the CIM classes.

Class Names
Lists the CIM class names that have custom attributes.

Custom Attribute Name
Displays the custom attributes of the CIM classes.

Add
Lets you add a CIM class with custom attributes in the Custom Attribute Add Application dialog box.

Remove
Lets you remove the selected CIM class and its custom attributes. You can delete only one CIM class at a time.

Modify
Lets you add or delete the custom attributes from the selected CIM class.

OK
Saves the custom attributes listed in the Custom Attribute table to the Novell® eDirectoryTM object.

Import
Lets you add the custom attributes in an existing file to the Custom Attribute table.

To import the file to the Custom Attribute table, open a text editor and create the file with the following format:

ClassName=attribute;attribute;attribute;
ClassName=attribute;attribute;attribute;

Fill in all the details of the application. The separator between the columns is a semicolon.

Save the file as a text file with any extension you prefer. You can then import the file into the Custom Attribute table.

Export
Saves the custom attributes displayed in the Custom Attribute table as a text file.

You can open the exported file in a text editor to modify the details of the applications in the file.
