Name Space Providers

Use the Name Space Providers window to obtain information about the Name Space Provider registered with WinSock Name Resolution Registration APIs. WinSock 2 includes a new set of API functions that standardize how the applications access use the various network naming services. This information will not be displayed for managed workstations with WinSock 1.1.

Name Space
Specifies the name space (SAP, DNS, SLP).

Connected
Displays whether the Name Space Provider is enabled on the managed workstation.

Version
The name space version identifier.

Service Provider
The string for the name space provider.
