File Transfer

Use the File Transfer window to transfer a file or folder between the management console and the managed workstation. You can perform the operations on a file or a folder using the menu options on the Menu bar. You can also right-click on a file or a folder and select from the menu options.

Upload
Moves the file or the folder from the management console to the managed workstation.

Download
Moves the file or the folder from the managed workstation to the management console.

Open
Opens the selected file in Notepad at the management console. Also, opens the folder with the list of files at the management console.

Open With
Opens the file or the folder at the management console with the specified application.

Properties
Displays the properties of a selected file or a folder.

Rename
Renames the selected file or the folder.

Delete
Deletes the selected file or the folder.

New Folder
Creates the folder with the specified name.

Cut
Transfers the selected files to the Clipboard.

Copy
Copies the selected files to the Clipboard.

Paste
Pastes the selected files from the Clipboard to the current location.

Up One Level
Moves one level up in the directory tree.

Operator Station
This is the management console. The left pane of the File Transfer window displays all the files in the current location on the management console.

Target Station
This is the managed workstation. The right pane of the File Transfer window displays the files in the current location on the managed workstation.
