File Transfer

Use the File Transfer property page to specify the security settings for File Transfer sessions.

Use These Settings and Ignore Workstation Remote Management Policy
When you enable this option, all parameter values in the property page will be made available for modification. The File Transfer settings in the Remote Management Policy in the workstation package associated with the workstation will be ignored and the values you choose from the File Transfer property page will be used for File Transfer sessions.

Enable File Transfer
Allows the remote operator to transfer files between the management console and the managed workstation.

Prompt User for Permission to Transfer Files
Allows the user at the managed workstation to either accept or reject the File Transfer session initiated by the remote operator.

Remote Operations
Choose the remote session you want to initiate with the new security settings.
To traverse the options of the Remote Operations button, press Ctrl+PageUp or Ctrl+PageDown.

Click to specify your preferences for arranging the property pages for this type of object. These preferences are saved and used the next time you start Novell^® ConsoleOne^® on this computer.
